Updated TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched, Gets OBD2B Compliant Engine & New Paint Schemes

TVS has launched the updated Apache RTR 200 4V. It now features an OBD2B-compliant engine and a golden upside-down fork suspension setup in the front. Additionally, there are also new colours and feature enhancements.

Upgrades

The most notable highlight of the RTR 200 4V is adding 37mm golden upside-down forks and a hydroformed handlebar. The bike is offered in new colours i.e. Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey. All the colour schemes feature a red front alloy wheel.

Engine

The same 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine continues to power the Apache RTR 200 4V. The engine produces 20.8 HP at 9000 RPM and 17.25 Nm of torque at 7250 RPM. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.

Safety Features

The Apache RTR 200 4V offers riding modes, including Urban, Sport, and Rain. Additionally, it features adjustable clutch and brake levers. Dual-channel ABS also protects the riders from any accidents.

Features

In terms of features, the bike features a fully digital instrument cluster with TVS SmartXonnect with Bluetooth and voice assist. There is also an LED headlamp with signature DRLs.

Outlook

This update incrementally moves forward, enabling the RTR 200 4V to stay relevant amidst stiff competition from the Pulsar NS200 and Honda Hornet 2.0.
