TVS Motor Company Confirms Norton Bikes To Launch In India By End Of 2025, Expected To Launch Smaller 300-400cc Bikes In Future

TVS Motor Company has confirmed the launch of Norton Bikes in India. The premium British motorcycle brand will launch by the end of 2025. It is important to note that this announcement happens after the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

Norton Bikes’ lineup currently comprises of the Commando 961, V4SV and V4CR. It is expected that these bikes will be sold in low quantities as Complete Built Unit (CBU). TVS aims to use Norton as an aspirational brand and build its position accordingly.

TVS and Norton are presently developing bikes with smaller engine capacity, which includes 300-400cc engines as well. These bikes will cater to emerging markets and expected to launch in the coming years.

TVS has realised that selling premium bikes will not allow for success. Therefore, the introduction of smaller capacity bikes will remain a crucial part of a long-term sales strategy. These are similar to the techniques utilised by Bajaj and Triumph and may yield benefits after a few years as part of a calculated approach.
