Ferrari To Launch EV By 2026, Will Debut The Vehicle In Three Phases

Ferrari is expected to launch its EV offering next year. According to Ferrari CEO, Benedetto Vigna, the deliveries of their first EV will commence by October 2026. The EV offering is tentatively known as the Electtrica.

The Maranello-based supercar brand has observed a 15% rise in Q1’s core earnings. Ferrari has also mentioned that the debut of the EV will be a radical departure, as they have been associated with roaring petrol engines for a long time. The technical specifications for the electric Ferrari will be revealed in October 2025.

The EV is expected to debut in three stages, potentially to generate excitement. Generally, Ferrari starts delivery of the models three quarters after the unveiling. The brand has also revealed that it will offer petrol, hybrid and electric models in the future.

There have been several test mules spotted with fake exhausts around the factory, which means that the factory is testing the electric platform. It is expected that there will be artificial sounds pumped into the cabin to simulate a combustion engine vehicle.

In terms of global sales, Ferrari has sold a total of 3593 cars this year. It is 33% more than the Q4 in 2024. The revenue has also increased by 13% to 1.79 million euros, and net profit increased by 17% to 412 million euros.
