
Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid Launched, Gets Colour TFT Screen With Turn-By-Turn Navigation
Yamaha has launched the FZ-X Hybrid. The bike now gets feature additions like a colour TFT screen. The brand prices the FZ-X Hybrid at Rs. 1.49 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Features
In terms of features, the FZ-X Hybrid is equipped with a 4.2-inch colour TFT metre with a turn-by-turn navigation system. The system can be used with Yamaha’s Y Connect application. This allows the FZ-X Hybrid to be more versatile than its previous iteration.
Hybrid System
The Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid also features a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop-Start System (SSS). The SMG helps the bike to charge its battery and gives a torque boost for quicker acceleration. This also allows for silent engine starting, and the start-stop function helps to improve fuel economy.
Engine
The Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid is powered by a 149cc engine, producing 12.4 HP at 7250 RPM and 13.3 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The traction control system and single-channel ABS provide additional riding confidence. In addition to this, there are telescopic front forks and 7-step monocross suspension setup at the rear.
