The next generation Hyundai Avante (Elantra) has been revealed by a South Korean website and it is one stunner. The all new model will go on sale next year.

2016 Hyundai Elantra
The next generation Hyundai Elantra looks quite appealing indeed

A South Korean website has come out with a picture of the 2016 Hyundai Avante (Elantra). The Elantra has been carrying the Avante nameplate in South Korea since the beginning. This picture could be a rendering of the next generation Hyundai Elantra which carries the codename – Hyundai AD. The latest iteration of the Hyundai Elantra rides on an all-new platform and is expected to hit Korean showrooms by mid or end of this year while global sales will start only next year.

The fifth Hyundai Elantra looks to have grown from the curvy current generation fluidic sculpture to a more elegant looking car. The vehicle gets a huge trapezoidal grille on the front with LED indicators placed on the top of the now much sharper edged projector headlight cluster. The front of this car resembles the Elite i20 to quite an extent, and this means that it now has a design language for the European market. Not much of a matter though, as the cars looks very sporty and will definitely be an instant hit.

The side of the new Elantra seems to get curves which somewhat resembles the American version of the current Toyota Corolla, but looks even better. The front bumper gets an air-dam like shape with a strip of vertically stacked daytime running LEDs. The new car also seems to get a new set of alloy wheels which look equally stylish. The image does not reveal the rear end but we can pretty much guess that it will equally please our eyes. The 2016 Hyundai Avante is expected to reach our shores only late next year as we are yet to receive the facelift of the current generation model.
