2018 Bajaj Avenger launch in January 2018, will feature a host of cosmetic upgrades.

Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise
Expect the non-ABS version of the new Avenger to be priced at a slight premium of Rs. 2000/- over the current model

Bajaj is all set to launch the facelifted Avenger Street and Cruise variants (220cc) in the next month. Both the variants get heavy cosmetic upgrades but no mechanical changes. Two test mules of the Avenger had been spied testing recently in Pune. Major updates come in the form of a fully digital instrument cluster. The classic chrome-rimmed round design is retained and the fuel-tank also gets a digital display (most probably like the Dominar) just above the fuel cap. There are split seats and a larger windscreen too.

The new Avenger 220 will continue to be powered by the 220cc single-cylinder motor that produces 19.03 PS of power and 17.5 Nm of torque. The powertrain is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and gets an oil cooler. Like the current model, the new Avenger will feature a front disc and a rear drum brake. The test mules spotted although featured a single-channel ABS, it remains to be seen whether Bajaj will offer it or not. The Street and Cruise variants are offered only in the 220cc variant while the 150cc variant comes only in the Street guise. Bajaj is yet to confirm the launch of the updated Avenger 150.

Expect Bajaj to offer new graphics and paint schemes for the new Avenger. The motorcycle rivals the Suzuki Intruder 150.
