Honda To Supply “Genuine Compatible Parts” For Older Cars, Starting With The Original NSX
Honda has announced that it will start supplying parts for older cars. The Japanese automaker will commence this process with the original NSX supercar. Notably, Honda has been providing parts support for existing vehicles for a few years after discontinuing their production.
The brand has been able to make this decision with the help of various business partners’ cooperation. The development of technologies like 3D printing has also made the task of re-manufacturing these parts easier. Honda will adapt parts that meet the quality standards in terms of function and performance as genuine compatible parts and supply them globally.
Honda will discontinue the NSX Refresh Plan, which has been operating since 1993. The brand shall also include iconic models like the S2000, CRX and Beat for parts supply. However, more details on the plan are yet to be released.
