Bajaj Auto recently launched their new campaign called “The World’s Favourite Indian” and at this event, Rajiv Bajaj spoke about the arrival of the Husqvarna brand in India. He said that Husqvarna could become even bigger than KTM.

He confirmed that the Husqvarna brand will be launched in India in 2019 itself and even said that the company could launch half a dozen 2-wheelers here. However, he didn’t divulge the names of the models that will be launched.

It is a known fact that the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 will be launched in India. These bikes share a lot of components with the KTM Duke 390. Powering these bikes will be a 373.2cc engine delivering 43.5 HP and 37 Nm.

These bikes also share the trellis frame, suspension and disc brake setup with the KTM Duke 390. Bajaj Auto is testing the BS6 versions of these bikes in India ahead of their launch.
