Hyundai Customer Care Programme has been launched to cover periodic maintenance of petrol vehicles for 3 years.
Hyundai has been in the news time and again for organising various service camps throughout the year. This time, the Korean carmaker has initiated the Hyundai Customer Care Programme (HCCP) to move a step ahead in customer satisfaction. HCCP is a comprehensive package which covers expenses for 3 years (or 1 lakh kms, whichever occurs earlier) of periodic maintenance services and offers additional 1 year extended warranty and roadside assistance for a one-time payment.
The scheme claims to offer over 51% savings over actual expenditure on services and protection against an increase in prices of services and parts over time. However, the programme is applicable for petrol variants of the Eon, Grand i10, Xcent, Elite i20, i20 Active and Verna that are less than 1 year old with under 10,000 kms on the clock. Owners of diesel vehicles, who are likely to reap greater benefits from such a scheme, can not avail HCCP at the moment.
Likewise, commercial vehicles are not entitled to opt for HCCP. Starting at Rs. 13,999/- for the Hyundai Eon, the programme will cover periodic service costs excluding the cost of wheel alignment, wheel balancing and replacement of wear and tear parts. The scheme covers the use of mineral oil for the engine. Cost of synthetic oil for the engine, if required or requested, will be charged from the customer.
The scheme does not include 1-year additional roadside assistance for the Hyundai Verna, which is why its package cost comes out to be equal to the Grand i10. Customers can avail HCCP for their cars from any of the Hyundai dealerships across the country. HCCP was launched at the ‘Mega Before Service Camp’ organised by the brand at 616 different locations. Currently, the programme is not applicable for the Creta, Elantra and the flagship Tucson SUV.
