Eicher Group pledges Rs. 50 crores to fight COVID-19 in India

Mahindra Scorpio – The popular Indian SUV has been updated with BS6 compliant engine. Sadly though, the Scorpio doesn’t come with automatic transmission option and 4×4 with this update. It will only be offered with 140 HP/320 Nm 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine in four variants S5, S7, S9 and S11. The engine gets selective catalytic reduction system, dedicated urea tank and diesel particulate filter.

Eicher Group – The group which comprises of Royal Enfield and VE Commercial Vehicles has pledged Rs. 50 crores to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in the country. The Eicher group will provide food, sanitation consumables to the needy, they will distribute protective care materials to healthcare personnel and contribute towards healthcare support.

Ola Emergency – The cab service provider has launched Ola Emergency service in Bengaluru wherein the customers can book cabs for emergency services like essential medical appointments, taxi rides to hospitals, etc.

Delhi Police – Delhi Police has deployed over 40 units of TVS Apache RTR motorcycles in the national capital to ensure smooth implementation of lockdown and that the citizens don’t violate the lockdown.

Motor Trivia – Did you know, the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is the British automaker’s most powerful car. It produces 592 HP from its 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine under the hood.
