Differentiating the Platinum Edition from the regular Cayenne models are the centre and side air intake grilles finished in platinum silver metallic shade. The side window trim, rear spoiler lip and also the lower tail gate trim have been finished in a silver metallic shade to maintain exclusivity on the special edition model. Porsche is exclusively offering the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition in a brand new Carrara white paint finish; however, the luxury SUV is also available with 5 colour options including black, white, metallic meteor grey, jet black and mahogany.

The exclusivity is maintained inside the cabin as well which now features two-tone black Luxor beige combination for the interior finished in partial leather. Powering the Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition is the same 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine that delivers 245 HP of power and 550 Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. 0-100 km/hr comes up in 7.2 seconds, while the top track speed is limited to 217 km/hr.
