Royal Enfield Launches ‘Make It Yours’ Personalisation Initiative
With this, no two motorcycles sold by the manufacturer will potentially be the same.
Royal Enfield has, today, announced the roll-out of “Make it Yours” (MiY), its very own motorcycle personalisation service.
Enabled via a new App-based 3D Configurator, MiY will provide consumers the choice of selecting colours, trims, and graphics, as well as genuine accessories, right at the time of booking their motorcycle.
Once the booking is made, customers will also get visibility of delivery timeline of their bike. As of now, the service will be available for the Royal Enfield 650 Twin motorcycles.
Depending on the level of personalisation, the motorcycles will be custom-made, within 24 to 48 hours, at the firm’s manufacturing plant in Chennai.
In the first phase, the initiative will be rolled on the manufacturer’s App, on its website and through more than 320 of its stores across the country.
The firm promises that MiY will be rolled out for all motorcycles in the manufacturer’s range and across all its stores in the country in a phased manner.
Also, each new motorcycle from Royal Enfield, from here on, will come with the MiY feature, says the leading middleweight bike manufacturer.
Since customers of the brand are known to modify their bikes according to their liking, in order to make the two-wheeler their own, it is only logical that the manufacturer would want to cash in with the latest scheme.
Furthermore, with the Royal Enfield App (which was launched last month), customers can now, apart from booking their motorcycle and placing a service request, even opt for extended warranty and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) packages.
