Skoda upcoming cars in India will include new products as well as updated models

Skoda India’s upcoming cars revealed for 2023. The carmaker plans to launch up to 5 new cars/updated models in the country next year.

The Czech carmaker has witnessed their best year in terms of sales in India in 2022 and they target to end the year with more than 50,000 units sales.

In 2023, they plan to sell over 60,000 units. The company is planning to introduce new products to sustain the traction.

There will be some updates in the existing lineup. The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia will get model year changes. Expected to get minor cosmetic changes and new features.

Apart from these updates, Skoda will introduce their first all electric vehicle for India, the Enyaq EV. It has been spotted testing multiple times in the country of late.

For the enthusiasts, they are also planning to import some limited units of the new Octavia RS iV. Along with this, they will launch a new Superb model as well.

The locally produces Superb and Octavia models will be discontinued in the country. Skoda will commence CKD and CBU imports of these models to cater the segment.

The Skoda Kodiaq is witnessing higher demand and the carmaker is planning for higher allocation of this SUV next year.

Company’s top officials have also revealed that Skoda will focus more on EVs than hybrids in India.
